Chinese anyone?

Another day has gone. Yesterday received news that I may have to stay in Wuxi till end of the month. But I do not feel the ummph to stay so long. I am running out of “battery”.

Another day of eating lunch off the plate using chopstick, another day torturing myself speaking understandable Chinese to the Chinese together with lots of sign language just to make sure they really understand what I am struggling to say. Why do I find it easier speaking Japanese-English than Chinese-English ah? I am quite tired asking the waitress or waiter whomever it was to read the menu out for the meals we have outside. But the food here is incredibly cheap.

One thing I am grateful for, is, who says Chinese don’t drink coffee? Of coz, the coffee they serve in the hotel is as thin as 0.5mm…. but then, I get to drink some instant ones in the office. Phew…. How do I live without coffee…..

It rained a while, and the weather is good now. Have been grateful (another thing I am grateful for) that I am not in Sg, in the midst of the haze, created by just some inconsiderate people and yet do not make much effort to stop torturing everybody.

Just saw some of Fiona’s wedding pics in the album created by Wendy. Good effort there.
